Welcome to the Mount Washington Resort Association

The Mount Washington Resort Association doing business, as Tourism Mount Washington, is a non-profit membership funded Resort Association whose purpose is to promote, facilitate and encourage the development, maintenance and operation of Mount Washington Alpine Resort and the members of the Association (as defined in the Associations Bylaws).

The Association acts as the destination marketing organization (DMO) mandated to promote the facilities and services offered by its members and to promote Mount Washington Alpine Resort and as an "all season" Alpine Resort located on Vancouver Island, BC

Our Vision
To become a recognized and respected destination marketing organization (DMO) actively promoting Mount Washington as an “all-season” Alpine Resort and one of the preferred recreational and tourism destinations on Vancouver Island.

Our Mission
Our mission is twofold . . .

1. To co-ordinate the common interests and collective resources of the resort community.
2. To enhance the overall experience of visitors and maximize the economic benefit for members.

Tourism Mount Washington's Volunteer Board and staff are committed to the Associations purpose and Vision and the need to co-ordinate the common interests of our members and raise Mount Washington's profile as Vancouver Island's premier “all-season” Alpine Resort for the long-term benefit of our members and visitors to the mountain.
