The terrain at Mount Washington offers world class alpine skiing, snowboarding and nordic sports facilities for cross country and biathlon training opportunites resulting in Mount Washington being one of the Canadian Ski Resorts that has attracted a number of 2010 Olympian teams who will be using Vancouver Island's Alpine Resort as their training base before they compete in Vancouver at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
