Winter at Mount Washington

Mount Washington is Vancouver Island's premier winter destination with a consistent record for the deepest natural snowpack in Canada (average snowpack 10.5m) and a unique island location that offers spectacular ocean and mainland mountain views from the mile high summit.

Skiers and snowboarders will enjoy over 81 alpine trails accessed by 9 lifts or carpets, while Nordic sport enthusiasts will have access to 55kms of scenic cross-country trails and a world class Nordic Centre that was home to international Olympic teams as they acclimatized and prepared for the 2010 Olympics.

There is a wide choice of chalets, condos and suites in the village for rent throughout the year  . . . but we recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.
